Day 1. Road transfer from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport to Balule Private Nature Reserve

Arrival with road transfer at Ku Sungula Safari Lodge which is located in the Balule Private Nature Reserve. the reserve has a rich wildlife and spectacular views as the border with the Kruger National Park is open and the Northern Drakensberg provides a great backdrop. The “reserve” is home to the Big-5, many other animal pieces and a paradise for birds. Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed with a drink on our centrally located terrace. After checking in in the authentic rondadel reserved for you, you can relax on the terrace and enjoy a high tea. One of the highlights are the game drive safaris. Let our professional, passionate guides take you for an unparalleled bush experience. In an open safari vehicle they bring you a few meters away from the wild animals.

Day 2. Camp in the Kruger National Park

Get up early for a full day adventure in the Kruger National Park. The Kruger National Park or Kruger park for short is an extensive game reserve in the northeastern provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga of South Africa, on the border with Zimbabwe and Mozambique. It is one of the most famous game parks in Africa. The Kruger Park is 380 km long, on average 60 km wide and has a total area of 20.000 km2. The northern part covers a fairly arid wilderness with iron trees and sandy rivers. The middle and south are mainly characterized by grass plains. In addition to the size of the park, the Kruger Park is known for the wide variety of animal pieces. This makes the Kruger Park home to the largest variety of animals in the entire continent of Africa. Learn from our passionate guide about the animals, plants, trees, birds, insects, amphibians, the ecosystem and topography. Let yourself be carried away and enjoy the pristine bush intensely.

Day 3. Camp in the Kruger National Park

The game viewer will leave early, the best time for animal activity. We will leave the campsite in the darkness, and soon the first faint hints of the coming sunrise are apparent. Our guide will try to point out an array of animals for you in these unique surroundings. A splendid breakfast will be served when we arrive back at the campsite. In the early afternoon we will depart again to seek the prestige animals of the Kruger National Park. When we arrive back you can relax a bit while the campfire is burning slowly and preparations are made for a wonderful dinner.

Day 4. Ku Sungula Safari Lodge and game drive PM

We will leave the campsite after we break up the camp to embark our way back to Ku Sungula Safari Lodge. Back on the vehicle, you will again have the opportunity to capture wonderful and a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. beginning of the afternoon we will be back at the lodge after checking in and a splendid high tea we once again will go on a afternoon game drive. Somehow, the time, seems to fly past, and you find yourself clambering back onto the vehicle, heart pounding with excitement, for your afternoon adventure, deep in the African bush, with a superb blend of Africa experienced. We are looking out for the animals that are most active at this time followed by a return to the lodge for your evening meal.

Day 5. Bush walk and road transfer to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport

Greet the new day with a bush walk. With the experienced knowledge of the armed guide, you will set off as your nostrils fill with the scent of crushing wild grass and your way through the bushes. This experience is interactive and educational, with the guide teaching you about, tracking, animal behavior and the bush’s ecosystem. Smell and taste the wild herbs, learn traditional uses and explore the smaller wonders of the bush. Back at the lodge, an extensive breakfast awaits you. After breakfast it is time to say goodbye and your road transfer to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport.
